I’m new. How do I order from ZenLeaf?

How do I become a member? Why do you need ID?
Our membership requirements are simple: We only need proof that you are 18+ and proof of existing condition. You can attach a scan or clear picture of your valid Government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, BCID, EID, etc.) and a scan or clear picture of a valid proof of diagnosis or condition. That’s all!
What is valid Proof of Diagnosis or Condition?
We understand that many patients are hesitant to ask their doctors, and that many doctors are hesitant about prescribing medical marijuana. However, we also believe that patients should have access to alternative treatments if they choose. Proof of condition or diagnosis can be a scan or clear photo of any of the following examples:
- A valid membership to any other existing dispensary in good standing.
- A doctor’s note confirming condition or diagnosis. This does not have to specifically reference medical marijuana– it only needs to be in your name and state your diagnosis.
- A valid prescription for medication for your condition in your name.
- A valid filled prescription for your medication in your name. This can include inhalers, prescription label, physiotherapy or mental health practitioner invoice.
What forms of payment are accepted?
From your checkout menu, you can select Cash on Delivery or Interac E-Transfer. For Cash sales, please have cash ready for your courier.
For Interac E-Transfer, please send payment to email@example.com and quote your order number as the password. If your bank transfer system requires a longer password, please append “ZenLeaf” to the order password. For instance, if your order number is 12345, please append it like so: ZenLeaf12345
We cannot currently accept credit card transactions, PayPal, BitCoin or other payment systems, but we hope to in the future!
Are there delivery fees?
Delivery within the City of Vancouver is totally free with a minimum order of $50. However, for UBC Endowment Lands and other regions within the GVRD (such as Burnaby or Richmond), delivery fees may apply. These fees will be automatically calculated by the checkout page, based on the delivery address. These fees are not negotiable.

What are your hours? When / how will my courier delivery arrive?
We deliver 10AM to 9:00PM, Monday to Saturday (Sundays are closed). Last call for orders is at 8:30PM to remain within the 9:00PM delivery window. If your courier is likely to run later than 9PM, we will be in contact with you to make sure this is acceptable.

What if I live outside the GVRD, or in another province?
We still love you! We recognize that medical marijuana is not easily obtained in some areas, and we strive to provide all patients with their medicine. Mail order is available to all members of ZenLeaf across Canada.
How does mail order work?
The process for ordering via mail is the same as ordering for delivery until you checkout. Upon choosing a mail-order method and submitting your order, your account will automatically generate a mail order and an invoice with your order number, which will be sent to the email address you provided.
Once your payment has cleared, your package will be shipped the same day or following business day. We will provide you with your Canada Post tracking number as soon as possible.
Please note that orders placed after 3PM Pacific Time will be shipped the following business day. Orders placed Friday evening or during the weekend will ship on Monday, and orders placed on holiday dates will be shipped when Canada Post service resumes.
Signature on Delivery is free for all mail orders. However, if you choose to opt out, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to your order.

Why don’t you stock [such-and-such] brand? Will you carry my brand?
We at ZenLeaf are always willing to expand our selection to bring quality cannabis goods to clients in need. However, we’ve found that numerous well-known brands are unsuitable for our store due to consumer price points, faulty hardware, inconsistent quality, and/or other factors. As well, numerous suppliers are unwilling to have their products verified by third-party testing laboratories, and have declined to deal with ZenLeaf as a result.
ZenLeaf would prefer only to deal with suppliers who either supply laboratory results for potency and health standards, or are willing to submit to third-party testing for quality assurance. If you’re a Canadian supplier who similarly believes reliable, lab-tested cannabis products are the way forward for the industry, please contact us.

ZenLeaf is a boutique Vancouver-based cannabis resource, operated by a small team of independent cannabis activists. We deliver medicinal marijuana to a small number of approved, discerning clients, sourcing products from known, licensed medicinal growers and expert herbalists in British Columbia. We maintain strict ethical and product quality standards in our associations, we prize organic herbal treatments as ideal, and we’re involved in local non-profit philanthropic ventures as well as activism for medical marijuana.
